There is no designated time for anything in your life. You don’t have to have your first kiss at any certain time, you don’t have to get married in your 20′s and you don’t have to do anything just because other people think it’s best. In fact, you will be much better off if you just do what your heart says. The day you stop caring what other people think is the day their opinions don’t mean anything, because you’re not there to give them weight. -Brianna West

My Alarm’s Not Working!! :|

Hahahaha!
That is my excuse for not waking up on the 10th alarm I set up 😛

In school days, I had my mom wake me up … alarms were just supplementary but never used them. I did give her a hard time though; she had to scream at me 10 times to open my eyes, 2 more to get my legs on the floor, and whole lot of energy to help me get up. She got tired of that, so I suggested that she sprays me with water.

What the hell was I thinking??!!! I would wake up, kicking in the air, cursing every second, and the whole day I was in an angry mood. So I told her to quit that.

Up to this point I am like that, sadly 😛

I started using the alarm ever since I started college. I used to put 2 annoying alarms but I would get up, shut them up and then go back to bed, haha ! Now, I don’t have to get up, I do it unconsciously. I set up 10 loud, ear piercing alarms but I either don’t hear them because I’m enjoying my dream (and the whole building wakes up ) or I turn them off while still asleep.
And still I depend on my mom to wake me up, sadly. :/

I’m not going to propose any solutions here as I am out of them.
I tried putting my favorite song, a classic one (stupid idea), a voice I love to hear every morning, and the list goes on but none worked. They actually put me to greater sleep.

I give up! God knows what will happen to me if I live alone. 0.o

This movie has changed me the moment I watched it. I loved it, simply loved it!! It’s a capturing but in a weird way which made it stand out, for me.

What I loved about it is that she doesn’t show that she is the source of help. She does it so secretively like a detective story and probably that’s because she lived in solitude most of her life. But helping them made her smile even though she knows she’s needs fixing herself.

It made me smile, cry and laugh. I actually felt like I was in the movie. I still repeat some scenes that made me smile and laugh when I needed it.

It made me feel that even though you feel like a nobody, but making a small change in people’s lives or even your own will make you a somebody.

Also the soundtrack was breathtaking. I guess I found my new love: the genius artist Yann Tiersen. Wow! After that soundtrack, I downloaded all his albums 😀 . His music is genuine, fun, moving and breathtaking. For those who don’t like classic music such as Beethoven or Mozart, I guess they will not say no to this. He uses a various instruments in each piece & you can hear them clearly. I urge you to listen to his music. Try this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrL6mfVQyJw

One Smile is worth a million words

One Smile is worth a million words

They say a picture is worth a 1000 words; I say a smile is worth a million words. This beautiful little girl that didn’t understand what made that boy different just made a huge change in his life. She made him smile and it sure did make her smile too 🙂
A piece of advice; make someone smile once and it will stick in your heart forever and you’ll smile in your hardest times.

Men At Work – Down Under

So tell me the truth! How many of you still listen to music in the 80s??

I was born in the early 90s and I prefer 80s music over the 90s or whatever they cast these days.
This is one music video out of thousands others I love to listen to: The Beatles, The Bangles, Cyndi Lauper, Depeche mode, Billy Joel, and the list goes on and on!

The main reason I love these artists’ songs is because they carry real meaning with added humor about life. Not like today, where the songs are stories about drugs and getting laid! I mean, COME ON!!

Not only that, they’re not too loud! Their music is gentle for the ears, very smooth and catchy.
I sometimes wish I lived in those times and got to listen to their music on the radio without having to switch stations every second because the music is too loud or nonsense!
